Are you an Australia-based Professional Art Therapist?
Do you want to start your private practice but don’t know where to begin?
Are you passionate about growing the Australian art therapy industry as a whole?

If so, this tailor designed training course may help you to distil complex and daunting concepts, build foundational business knowledge relevant to running an art therapy practice, and establish the confidence and business acumen to embrace the challenges and uncertainties of being a business owner.

Course Overview

Delivered over five weeks, each module entails a 3-hour live training session, as well as preparation and take-home activities and resources. An overview of the modules is outlined below:

Funding Low Cost / Free Art Therapy Sessions

All proceeds from the 2025 training course will be redistributed to fund low cost / free art therapy sessions offered by Cerulean Space Art Therapy. Cerulean Space is committed to increasing the access to art therapy by different populations. In Australia, outside of NDIS, access to art therapy by low socioeconomic populations is generally limited. As such, by offering this course, Cerulean Space will be able to support some families or individuals with limited financial capacity to afford art therapy services. Disclaimer: Cerulean Space Pty Ltd is not a non-for-profit organisation. This initiative forms one of the strategies Cerulean Space is implementing in becoming a social enterprise, where a substantial portion of its revenue is redirected to social causes (i.e. offering low cost / free art therapy sessions to underprivileged individuals and families).
